Being in a relationship is a beautiful thing. Scientists say that isolation can cause an increase in one's susceptibility to diseases by up to 20 percent. As much as this is scary, it's true though!. Nature has taught us on how relationship is vital to our survival from the seasonal migration of birds, mammals and fishes from one part of the earth to another in groups to reproduce and seek for food, to the presence of both male and female gametes even in micro-organisms for reproduction. There are benefits to being in a relationship as well as challenges involved. Humans are very social creatures and as such would love to interact with one and another. But certain features must be found in a relationship to make it work. They are: - trust; - honesty; - openness; - integrity; - support; - ability to admit mistakes; - good listening ears and; - selflessness. On this note, we must understand that only healthy relationships can breed great health benefit...
